ItalianDidactic Farm
We organize with local schools didactic activities in our farmhouse to teach in a fun way agriculture and the production cycles.
In addition to 80 Cinta Senese pigs and Chianina cows, we have 2 Tibetan goats, lots of farm animals and 2 dogs.
We offer courses for children of different ages, from kindergarten to elementary school. Below the details:

Arrival at the farm
Let’s get dressed: preparation of clothing to be “real farmers”
Let’s meet and feed the animals: animal observation phase, divided into 3 parts:
the farm, the field and nurturing the animal
Lunch with typical products of the farm
The scarecrow, let’s meet a special friend
For older children: Orienteering in the woods an adventure in the nearby woods with compasses and a topographical map.
Afternoon snack with bread and extra virgin olive oil, bread and jam or a fresh from the oven homemade pie
